Did I say China? I meant here in the U-S-of-fucking-A. Parts of a story on the railroading of Alabama (democrat) Governor Don Siegelman were blacked out in Alabama last night.
"Tonight was something truly unseen in US history. During the 60 Minutes broadcast and ONLY during the Don Siegelman portion -- the screen went black for Huntsville residents and Mobile residents."
Link to a Huffingtonpost.com story about the incident.

Sad day for the Gunners.
Eduardo DaSilva, a new striker signed this year for my Arsenal, went down in the third minute of the match Saturday against Birmingham City with a horrifically broken leg from a horrible challenge. He may never be able to play again, though he says "My concentration is on making as quick a recovery as possible. I am determined to overcome this injury."

J Rocc: Blue Note mix.
In honor of Blue Note records releasing "Droppin' Science: Greatest Samples from the Blue Note Lab", the great J Rocc released this mix. Recommended for sure.

Thomas Allen
This guy takes old paperbacks and makes a sort of diorama out of them that he then photographs, using shallow depth-of-field to great effect.
You can see more of them here.

Wallpaper* City Guides
I like to pick up these Wallpaper City Guides when I hit a new place. Admittedly, it has a lot to do with the excellent design of the guides and the high-quality photography, but they also fit right into your pocket and hit the highlights of each city. Also, they're a pretty reasonable 8.95.
train station, Milan
This is one of my favorite shots from Italy, probably because of the glowing 'Roma Termini' sign. It's a bit grainy in the dark areas, not the greatest scan.

Scarlett Johanssen + Tom Waits
Scarlett Johanssen made an album of Tom Waits covers. I might be one of the few that actually wants to hear this, but I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Found a great blog today while doing a random search (not random really, but I don't want to discuss exactly what the search was, yet). This guy's blog is pretty much what mine would be if I actually blogged instead of just posting my photos. Now I don't have to blog, it's already being done how I would do it.
ENOUGH SAID.
check it out.
